Right indeed when you say: "The Flood has often been regarded as a mere legend. Especially those people who believe in the theory of evolution do not believe that the Flood has ever taken place. That's exactly the point in my article, to confront their refusal to examine the evidence in terms of a grand catastrophe like the flood. If such a globe altering, swift catastrophe could happen on Mars and on Venus, our nearest planets, why couldn't something like that happen on Earth? It is intellectually dishonest - at least it is not "open-minded" - to reject that possibility out of hand. But of course, our schools and western countries support only atheism right now, so it is strictly illegal to consider something that might fit with the biblical record. Das ist streng verboten! That’s exactly the point in my article, to confront their refusal to examine the evidence in terms of a grand catastrophe like the flood. If such a globe altering, swift catastrophe could happen on Mars and on Venus, our nearest planets, why couldn’t something like that happen on Earth?
