Plan your calendar now for the Financial Peace University (FPU) course which is scheduled for September 6 through November 29, 2011, on Tuesday evenings from 7 to 9PM in the SLaM Room. The course received rave reviews last year and helped many
people to gain financial peace. I personally attended FPU last year and I‟m so glad I did. The teaching was excellent and extremely beneficial! My only regret is that we didn‟t have this course years ago.
Here’s what to expect: The course consists of a 13-week DVD curriculum—taught by financial expert Dave Ramsey—that incorporates group discussions to encourage accountability and discipleship. Financial Peace University is highly entertaining for everyone, with a unique combination of humor, very informative and innovative financial advice, and biblical messages. More than one million families have already had their lives changed by attending FPU.
First Church of the Open Bible in Huber Heights will be offering this very popular training course to our church body and also to the community, so feel free to invite any family members, friends, co-workers etc., who want (or need!) to attend FPU. I‟m also very pleased to announce that George Humerick will again be our FPU coordinator!
Cost: The first lesson is totally free! All you have to do is register to attend. Your class coordinator will be available immediately after the free lesson if you wish to purchase your family membership and attend the full course. Family memberships usually cost around $100 and include all class materials. Folks, this is a great bargain! Everyone should take it.
